The Queen Mary was a cruise liner back at the same time as The Titanic when it was a big thing to go across the Atlantic on a really nice boat. It ended up then having to be in the war and they painted it all gray and transported soldiers in it.
Now it is part museum, part conference center, part hotel. It stays in the pier at Long Beach.

This is the kids running on the inclosed side of the deck. I'm pretty sure right after this picture they both biffed it.

There was also a Carnival Cruise Ship getting ready to leave. We ate lunch and watched all the people getting ready to board. It kind of made me want to go on a cruise sometime!
